John Lambert: I was born in the village many years ago. I was converted & baptised at 14 years old and have been a church member ever since. I am married to Susan and we have two sons.
I have been employed in civil law since leaving school and I am currently working at the High Court in London & Yorkshire. I have been a Deacon at the Church on and off for a total of around 20 years.
I am looking to the Lord for a deeper Christian walk for the fellowship and guidance upon impacting the village of Wootton for Christ.
Ron Bowler
Ron Bowler: I moved from Flitwick to Marston Moretaine with my wife Lin in December 2009. We were active members of the Baptist church in Flitwick serving the Lord in different areas of the work. Before our move from Flitwick we attended several services at Wootton and felt that this was where the Lord wanted us to join the church family. We became members of Wootton Baptist Church in 2010 and enjoy the fellowship and serving the Lord in the work here. Lin was converted when she was 6 and I was converted in my teens. In our family we have been blessed with 4 children and 4 grandchildren, Lin works at The School of Management in Cranfield and I retired in June 2012. It’s a privilege to serve the Lord and share the good news of salvation that the Lord Jesus brings to our lives. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish”.
Gary Williams
Gary Williams: As the newest and dare I say youngest deacon, I feel honoured to be able to serve the Lord in this small way. I became a Christian in 2012 after hearing the Word of God preached in this very Church and was Baptised here a year or so later. I was born and brought up in the west country, before moving to Wootton in 1997. We chose to move here to be close to family and to move back into the village my wife Teresa grew up in.
